Yutaka Yoshino, CFTe is Chief Technical Analyst of SMBC Nikko Securities, where he provides technical analysis-based market analysis and forecasts to institutional investors. He is one of the most highly rated technical analysts in Japan, constantly ranking among the top 3 of the Nikkei Analyst Rankings (Market Analysts’ category). Prior to joining SMBC Nikko Securities, he was with Nikko Salomon Smith Berny and Nikko Citigroup for 12 years, providing TA-based market analysis and forecasts to institutional investors.
Yutaka was the first apprentice of Hidenobu Sasaki*, the legendary Ichimoku-based technical analysis authority. He worked closely with Mr. Sasaki for over ten years at both Nikko Securities and Nikko Citigroup. Currently, Yutaka is widely regarded as the leading authority in Ichimoku principle-based market analysis and projection in Japan.
Yutaka is the author / co-author of “Cardinal Rules of FX Trading Taught by the FX Dream Team (FX Dream Team ga Oshieru FX no Tessoku)” and "Investing at High Price Zones: How not to be frightened even when the market falls (Takane Kara no Toshi-jutsu: Sagetemo Awatenai).”

* Hidenobu Sasaki was ranked No.1 in the Nikkei Analyst Rankings (Market Analysts’ category) for nine consecutive years (which remains the runaway record in the history of the Nikkei Analyst Rankings to this day) for his unique application of the Ichimoku principle to contemporary financial markets and accurate market calls. He passed away in 2008.
