Toshiki Aoki

Profile

Toshiki Aoki joined The Industrial Bank of Japan, Ltd. (currently The Mizuho Bank, Ltd.) in 1967 where he was engaged in various major banking businesses of the Bank including but not limited to derivatives and primary bond markets and became Director, Securities Business Division in 1995. He assumed President of IBJ Asset Management Co. Ltd. in 1998 and then Senior Managing Director of IBJ Dai-ichi-Life Asset Management Co. Ltd.(currently DIAM Co. Ltd.) in 1999. He joined Maruwa Securities Co. Ltd. (currently Securities Japan Co. Ltd.) as President & Representative Director and through the series of corporate reorganizations was appointed Chairman & Representative Director of Securities Japan Co. Ltd in 2009.

He then joined The Nippon Technical Analysts Association first as Counsellor in 2011 and then assumed Chairman in 2012. He used to serve as one of the committee members at Japan Securities Dealers Association and a frequent contributor to the column of Nikkei Shimbun called “Juujiro”.
